Terms of Service

By using the BrushNotes website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website. The member app terms also apply when you create an account or use the app.

What BrushNotes provides

BrushNotes offers educational resources and tools for people exploring dental hygiene, studying, preparing for boards, and working in the profession. Public guides are available without a membership. Member tools include school and job search, study support, and CE tracking.

Use information thoughtfully

Our content is for general information and education. It isn't medical, legal, financial, or individualized professional advice. BrushNotes does not grant degrees, licenses, or CE credit, guarantee exam results, or guarantee admission or employment.

School requirements, costs, job listings, and state rules can change. Confirm important details with the school, employer, testing organization, or state board before making a decision. Listings and external links do not imply endorsement or a partnership.

Membership and billing

BrushNotes offers two plans. BrushNotes Pro is $29 USD monthly or $290 USD annually. BrushNotes Premium, which adds Chat with Carissa, is $59 USD monthly or $590 USD annually. A paid subscription is required to access BrushNotes; creating an account alone does not grant access. There is no free trial.

You can upgrade from Pro to Premium at any time; the prorated difference for the rest of your billing period is charged when you upgrade. If you switch from Premium to Pro, you keep Premium, including Chat with Carissa, until the end of your current billing period, then renew at the Pro price; no partial refund or credit is issued for the remaining Premium period. Chat with Carissa offers career guidance based on personal experience; it is not clinical, legal, or medical advice, and replies are not guaranteed within any specific time.

Before subscribing, review the checkout for your selected plan, renewal amount, and any applicable tax. A subscription renews at its selected interval unless you cancel. Payments are handled through Polar. Manage your subscription and cancel renewal in the app's Billing section; refer to your account for the access end date. Contact us for payment or refund questions.
